After his first visit to Brazil, during the Second Brazilian Cheese World Cup in 2022, Jason Hinds, owner of the restaurant “Neal's Yard Dairy“ he described the experience as exciting:
“The World Cup was very exciting and a real inspiration... I felt that we were all taking part in the beginning of a new era... that of Brazilian cheese, hitherto unknown to the outside world and with the World Cup as its cheerleader.” said the cheese maker.
As well as announcing his return to the country, where he will take part in the third edition of the event, the famous English cheesemaker announced something new: the first shipment of Brazilian artisan cheese from the Handmade Pardinho, 100% of raw milk to the United States for distribution to its sales networks.
Overall, the cheesemaker sees the World Cup as a great opportunity for cheesemakers to stand out:
“Events such as World Cheese Day help tremendously to increase market and public awareness of the people and stories behind artisan cheeses.” he concludes
Hinds joins Laurent Dubois and Dominique Bouchait in the team of international stars who promise to make the World Cheese Championship in Brazil even brighter.
